My core role was environment lead with a team of fluctuating artists that would at various points be 1,2 up to 8 artists. This would expand as design would gather info from these environment pushes, and retool our direction as we progressed forward. Near the end I was shifting more to design focus to help validate the complex game principles we were setting up.
Most of the environments I setup, painted, set dressed and set the tone, metrics and examples for the other artists to replicate and push forward the esthetics and game principles.
A lot of the props and other aspects below I directed and lead the outcomes on with the art team. I say this because I don’t like showing others work as my own but I think its important to note the result of our teamwork together. I would be happy to
talk in depth about any of those aspects or discuss any specific image below.
